Hello
My name is Cliff. Welcome to 4 Eyes Freelancing Canada. Content creation is what I do. Podcasts, blogs, and YouTube. Along with special projects. Through a collaborative process, I work with clients to help them engage audiences through blogs, videos on YouTube, and podcasts. Plus, on occasion I also handle requests for special projects.
The goal is simple: create engaging content that connects with large, medium, or niche audiences that strengthens a connection to a business or organization.

The Journey To Today
The journey actually began back in the 70s when I was watching WKRP in Cincinnati. When I realized I could not join the Canadian Armed Forces due to my visual disability, I began to turn my interest towards radio. WKRP and listening to CKGM in Montreal, Quebec, inspired me to try for a spot in radio school. I bombed but still kept thinking, I can do that. Eventually I left Montreal, headed to Hamilton, Ontario, and began a career in security. Still, I dreamed of doing radio, and I got into listening to the CBC's As It Happens. At the time Al Maitland and Michael Enright hosted the show, and I got hooked. I did get into a course at Mohawk College, graduated in 1992, and had 1 year of service with the CBC in 1994. My career in radio ended in 1996 after I did a stint as a producer for CFMU. I never passed through to the commercial side of radio due to barriers that were placed in front of me.
In 1996 I began working in call centres which is what I still do today. However, I never really have lost interest in radio, though I only listen via podcast to programs I really like, including As It Happens. I decided in 2009 to create a blog called Candid Conversations, modeled on the idea of As It Happens. The blog features interviews with people from all walks of life and tells their stories about business and other things they are doing. I also have done work creating customer obituaries, sharing the stories of loved ones who have passed on, and I do custom content for businesses.
Recently I changed the blog to a commentary site, created a YouTube channel that focuses on interviews with people, and created a podcast about call centres.
